Frequently asked questions

  • Becoming a member is FREE! You only pay for the events you choose to attend, with prices ranging from free to $150, depending on the experience. 

    If you know you want to see us every month, we’ve got curated (interest-based!) clubs made for you. Those membership fees depend on how long you want to commit (and trust me, once you’re in, you’ll want to stay).

  • Our members share a common goal: making new friends and connections. Most attendees come solo without knowing anyone else. While you can bring a friend, consider whether it might limit your chance to connect with new people. If you do bring someone, please email in advance so we know to seat you together!

  • Nearly every event welcomes a mix of newcomers and returning attendees, usually split about 50/50. Whether it's your first time or you've attended multiple events, our community will welcome you with open arms. Promise!!

  • It’s totally normal to feel nervous about stepping out of your comfort zone! A lot of our members felt the same way before attending their first event. But they told us that once they showed up, they immediately felt at ease—our community is super friendly and welcoming!

    If you’re still feeling unsure, don’t worry! We’re here to support you every step of the way. Just send us an email before the event, and we’ll make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. Liza (with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling!!) is also here to help with any nerves you might have and ensure you feel right at home.

  • You don’t! 😂 Let’s be real, nobody likes the awkward moment of figuring out who owes what, right? When you sign up for our events, the price is fixed and paid during registration. You’ll know exactly what it’s covering (and tax and gratuity will always be included so there’s no scrambling at the event!!). If you decide to order extra items, you’ll pay for them separately with the venue. Simple, clear, and zero stress.

  • We’re always able to accommodate dietary restrictions! We collect them in advance and review them with the venue to ensure there's something delicious for everyone. The menu for each event is shared ahead of time, and if there’s nothing that works for you, we’ll create a special option.Our Founder is vegan and doesn’t drink alcohol, so you can always count on vegan options and mocktails being available at every brunch!

  • Nope! The Founder of NYC Brunch Squad does not drink so each event always has at least one mocktail option. Plenty of women attend our events and choose not to consume alcohol.

  • Some of our events are 21+, but generally, we are able to welcome ladies ages 20-40 years old. You will be seated with other women in your age range. ​The majority of our members are in their 20s or 30s.

  • If you're really excited to join an event, jump in and register as soon as possible because the spots fill up very quickly!

    Now, if you happen to find yourself on the waitlist, no worries. When you provide your credit card info, we only authorize it; we don't charge it. If a spot opens up because someone cancels, we'll reach out to you right away and offer it to you. If, for any reason, we can't get you off the waitlist, rest assured, your payment won't be processed at all.

    We can also hook you up with priority access to the next event, so you'll get your invite before everyone else in the Squad!

  • You are welcome to do so, but know that we have photographers and videographers present at each event.

    The photos and videos taken during the event will be sent to our attendees via email within a few weeks after the event.

    However, if you're not comfortable being in photos or videos, that's completely fine! Just give us a heads up in advance, and we'll make sure not to include you in any shots.

  • We appreciate your interest in promoting to our members! To maintain the integrity of our community and its mission, we carefully review all promotion requests. Please note that you must receive written consent from us before approaching our members with any solicitations. Failure to do so may result in removal from the Squad. If you'd like to inquire, please email us your request. Due to the high volume of weekly inquiries, please understand that we may not be able to respond to every email.

  • We handpick the most unique, exclusive, trendy, and "grammable" spots! Our goal is to pick venues that get you so excited to step inside, your excitement will easily outweigh any nerves about hanging out with a group of strangers. 😂
